Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Hudson and Kerttula: Page 3, line 19, through Page 4, line 14: Delete all material. Renumber the following bill sections accordingly. Representative Hudson moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Mulder objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 199(FIN) Second Reading Amendment No. 1 YEAS: 19 NAYS: 21 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Berkowitz, Brice, Cissna, Croft, Davies, Grussendorf, Hudson, Joule, Kapsner, Kemplen, Kerttula, Kookesh, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Moses, Sanders, Smalley, Williams Nays: Austerman, Barnes, Bunde, Coghill, Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Halcro, Harris, James, Kohring, Mulder, Murkowski, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Therriault, Whitaker Davis changed from "Yea" to "Nay". And so, Amendment No. 1 was not adopted. Amendment No. 2 was not offered. 1999-05-17 House Journal Page 1576 HB 199 Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 199(FIN) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Representative Berkowitz objected. The Speaker stated that CSHB 199(FIN) will be in third reading on the May 18, 1999, calendar. The Speaker stated that, without objection, the House would stand at ease for a Minority Caucus; and so, the House stood at ease at 10:45p.m.
